Hosts Jeff Nyikos and Rob Sanders, powered by Leros Transportation Group dive into the challenges that face the industry & examine the trends of everything Hospitality! We take this show on the road, so be ready for some exciting episodes ahead.
In this 13th episode of Hospitality Now, Jeff and Robert were on location shooting our latest podcast interviewing Mark Speranza the Director of Sales and Marketing at the beautiful Chemists’ Club in NYC and in walks Glenn Vogt, Owner & Managing partner of RiverMarket Bar & Kitchen in Tarrytown. (If you have not gone, GO)
In his normal, fun, laidback & cool self, he sat with us for almost an hour talking Hospitality, telling stories, talking wine and believe me, he knows Hospitality.
He was the Partner/GM of the Kittle House Restaurant and Inn in Chappaqua, NY and Wine Director of the world-famous wine cellar at the Kittle House and currently still holds that opportunity.
Glenn served as the General Manager of Windows on the World, NYC. Tragically after the attacks on the Towers Windows on the World of course closed. Glenn like so many lost so many loved ones that day as so many did, but he was not be stopped.
Speak personally as Co-host, yes Glenn is an amazing chef, restaurateur, entrepreneur and yes, WINE GURU! His depth of knowledge is expansive and very, very rare in the world.
But I don’t believe any of that maters to Chef Vogt, the awards, accolade’s…….he cares about people, helping people, serving people, teaching people and giving back to the community and those who are underserved. Glenn has and will continue to be a cornerstone of the Westchester County community, and under the radar he has helped thousands along the way asking for nothing but a smile in return.
Take a listen to my friend, Chef Glenn Vogt
